MCUT – CUTTER MILL
Clean cuts. Minimal fines. Defined geometry.
The MillNest Cutter Mill MCUT uses rotating blades against stationary knives to deliver clean, consistent cuts — producing defined granule geometry with minimal fines on fibrous, leafy and tough materials where impact grinding would create excessive dust.

Options Available
The MCUT Cutter Mill uses rotating blades combined with stationary cutting knives to deliver a shearing cut rather than an impact. This mechanism is specifically suited to fibrous, leafy and woody materials where a hammer mill would produce excessive fine dust and poor particle geometry.
Adjustable blade clearance and interchangeable screen sizes allow control of the output particle geometry — from coarse flake to defined granule — depending on the downstream application requirement.
- Rotating and stationary blade action for clean cut geometry
- Minimal fines generation — particularly important for premium herb products
- Strong fit for dried herbs, woody spices and leafy materials
- Easy screen and blade access for fast changeover and cleaning
- Adjustable blade configuration for output geometry control
- Optimised for low energy consumption at high throughput
- Scissor-action cutting mechanism
- Tool steel knife construction
- Micrometer clearance adjustment
- Helical knife arrangement
- Reversible knife operation
- Variable speed control
- Stainless steel housing (optional)
- Complete safety interlocks
- Quick-access maintenance design
- Soundproofed enclosures available

MCUT is the right choice when clean cut geometry and minimal fines matter more than ultrafine particle size — particularly for premium dried herbs, woody spices and dehydrated vegetables.
- Dried herbs — parsley, basil, oregano, thyme, bay leaf
- Woody spices — cinnamon, clove stems, dried ginger
- Dehydrated onion and garlic flakes and granules
- Fibrous agri-materials and botanical ingredients
- Leafy vegetables for food ingredient applications
- Selected polymer and industrial fibrous materials

These conditions indicate the MCUT Cutter Mill is the right starting point. Submit your material for a full review before final selection.
- Material is fibrous, leafy or woody — unsuitable for hammer milling
- Clean cut particle geometry and visual quality matter
- Minimal fines generation is a yield and compliance requirement
- Output form is flake or granule — not fine powder
